David Bartel
Composition, Laptop, drums and Keyboards

David fled the French music conservatory to study composition in New York with a grant from the French Government. After graduation (he received Ph.D in music composition from SUNY Stony Brook in 1997) David got involved with underground electronic music scene and continued to write chamber music for various ensembles and soloists. His music has been performed in Japan, Europe Canada and the United States. Complete with film music, Web-Art and multimedia installations David has been involved with many artistic forms and collaborations.

DeepSoundChannel (DSC), his new musical project, explores the dynamic relationships between computer-generated music, composition and human musical intervention/improvisation.
